via Palo Alto Junior Museum And Zoo Review — Captain Bobcat

Looking at the pics reminds me of The Science Park at Herstmonceaux – have you been? I think Munchkin would really enjoy it – I know my two did.

I keep meaning to take her to Herstmonceaux and forgetting about it! She’d like the castle as well as the science park.

My firm advice – make them two separate trips. The gardens of the Castle a total joy – magical and very unusual and deserve a whole day to themselves. There is a beech hedge which you walk down the inside, a wonderful lakeside walk with dragonflies, immense old trees in amazing shapes and a magic garden with lots of child-sized nooks and crannies.
